Windows XP: IBM T23
IBM T23
by brucek1102 - 7/27/04 10:46 AMmy thinkpad 600 is crashing and burning, i'm thinking of getting a used t23. Anyone have any good or bad things to report on this model? It's a P3 with 512MB, windows xp.

Frankly, with all the parasites running around, I find them to cost people a lot of money. Simple PESTS that we read about at http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/ can make a person think their machine has had it.

I have owned both of them I still have my IBM 600 and it has served me well. I would highly recommend the T23. A word of advice always make sure you either have a restore/recovery partion or a restore/recovery CD when buying an IBM laptop other wise when the system crashes and you try to install your own OS you could get all types of error message this is what happened to me with my thinkpad 600. Good Luck
