My Cue Cat attacked my Optical Mouse, so I had it put down. I'll sure miss "Trixie"...
Seriously, living in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, I remember Cue Cat very well. I actually worked for a consulting company that did some software development for them. It was perhaps one of the most useless devices I've ever seen and they poured millions into that piece of junk!! What really cracked me up is how they made it look like a really cheesey little white cat.
Have to give it to you - I think you do win!
invented by the Japanese.
I have a few... The first of which is my Nextel, because for $20 a month extra, they give me an whoping 1.5MB transfer at a rediculously slow speed! My second is a supposed USB PC Vacuum... which doesnt suck much, and even if it did, dust particles would then share the same compartment as the batteries, which wouldn't power-on essentially if the computer is off, which would be proper before working on the inside, LOL.. The third of which is a USB Keyboard light; made by Targus, with like a 5 day-from-purchse warranty, when it did work, it was extremely bright, and shouldn't be used in a car because it basically lit the whole cabin of the car up when it reflected off my flat-black keyboard. I would prefer not too have too many PC accessories, although, I wonder if someone has come up with a USB razor, or hair dryer.
I think all the accessories are equally ridiculous. If something is ridiculous ..... well, it is ridiculous ..... period. We need not waste our energies in grading them further...!!!
Portable lap desk, isnt it enough that you have to carry your laptop or whatever computer, and now you also have to carry a lap board.
that seems like a pretty useless accesory for a PC user ![]()
I DO NOT have this installed in my system, but I find it hilarious thinking that someone might actually get one of these! It's a cigarette lighter panel with cup holder that fits into a standard 5.25" external drive bay. Below is the link to Computer Geek's Web site where you can order your own if you like!!

Anything attached to a device or part for the sake of being "lighted". If it services no function other than being lit, forget about it. Being cool isn't in my blood but doing a zillion things at one time is. Of course, I like to point out anything that can keep a laptop going if at all possible beyond its typical battery service, maybe a solar attachment, not some auto lighter one, but a real solor panel. Ahhhhha! -----Willy
Hell, they all were crazy with the execption of the Wi-Fi finder. That I could use..... Fred
The most ridiculous PC accessory I have ever had
was a 2 Gigabyte Jazz Drive from IOMega.
Despite the SCSI interface it was a dog.
Despite IOMega's claims to handle it, it never touched a disk that it didn't prefer to eat.
It was truly the most ridiculous PC accessory I have ever had.
