Sony CD-writer gives session fixation error
by Yadav - 2/25/05 3:07 AMHi, I have a sony CD-RW, Nero burining software and Windows XP operating system. When ever I try to burn some data, the process gives "session fixation error" at the begining and stops burning. I tried uninstall and reinstall or Nero. Please help me. Arun.

Which version Nero?

I had the same problem - fixed with firmware upgrade
by Coli - 3/20/05 11:22 AM In reply to: Which version Nero? by John46947I could write DVD+R using Nero 6 reloaded but DVD-R writes were failing at the end (of simulation or real writes) on my Sony DRA-710A drive with:
"Illegal disk
Writing short lead-out
Session fixation error
Could not perform end of Disk-at-once
Simulation failed at 4X"
When I upgraded the DVD firmware from BY02 to vBYX3 (09 Mar 2005) the problem was resolved.
