by K-Mart - 3/13/05 9:06 PMI've seen this line of NEC phones they only sell overseas including the N900, 923, 930, 940, and N500. The 923 is 9.5mm thick and makes the Razr look like my old math textbook.
I'm just wondering if anybody has ever had an NEC phone and if they can say anything good or bad about the quality.

very, very pleased with the product.
I do however have a couple of minor gripes
and that is mainly to do with the fact that
you are required to keep the headset plugged
into the phone dispite the fact it does have
a nice built in speaker.
They could have packed a microphone into the
main body of the phone as well and the use of
a permanent headset did turn me off being a
full time user of this phone. I swap between
this one and my SAGEM MY C2-2 and Nokia 9210i.
ON the plus side this phone comes with a battery
sealed into the case and another one in the speacial
cradle the phone comes in. This does give you a long
standby and talk time so it's not a bad trade off
if you can handle the constant headset cable and
occasional annoyance from that.
