Does anybody have the approx. $40 earbuds by Sony? I saw them @ Best Buy and wonder if ther're anything special. Comments pls
I brought a $5 Sony earbud, which seemed good enough.

Which one are you talking about? And why would anyone want to spend that much money on earbuds? They have $200 earbuds, and my mp3 player cost $100...^_^

Where did you bring it to?
They do sound nice (to me - average listener). I am listening to then right now. You are better off with the Sony MDR-EX51LP Fontopia Headphones. They have exactly the same specs as the MDR-EX71SL. The difference is in the cord. The MDR-EX51LP have a continuous cord. The MDR-EX71SL have a short cord with an extention cord. The affect of this is that there is a heavy connector where the two cords connect and this weight pulls on the earpieces in your ears. This is super annoying. The MDR-EX51LP headphones cost less too.
There are some iPod white versions coming out soon if you want to wait for them.
