Torn between Samsung HL-P5685W and Sony KDF-60WF655
by joe stark - 2/27/05 7:27 AMI have been looking to by a TV for about 5 months and I have really been interested in the samsung. Then I was looking at the Sony and now I am torn between the two can anyone help me ease this pain that I am having. Could anyone give any insight on which one would I be happier with. As far as run time for these TV's it will be normal run time. Basiclly it will be used for Movies and standard watching during the week. Have purchased a Yamaha receiver to control my audio.

personally I would get the samsung

I know that Best Buy shows a Hi-Def satellite signal through their monitors, so you are seeing the best possible signal. The Best Buy I usually go to couldn't do this but Circuit City could and it made a heck of a difference in my opinion of Sony's KDF-55WF655.
I would look into Samsung or Mitsubishi.
Definitely stay away from the Samsung HLP models!

We install them and we have had to get about 6 out of 7 DLP Tvs and 3 out of 5 plasma and LCD Tvs switched out or had the boards replaced because of these problems. I would look at a Hitachi or Toshiba. Hope this helps.
what about Mitsubishi DLP
