I AM TRAVELING BACK HOME WITH THIS RV.I JUST BOUGHT IT A FEW DAYS AGO TO LIVE IN,HAVING JUST LOST MY HOME.I HAD TO SPEND LAST NIGHT IN SALEM,IL.TO SEE ABOUT FINDING AND FIXING THIS PROBLEM.I AM PRETTY MUCH MECHANICALLY CAPABLE,I JUST DON'T HAVE THE NEEDED TEST EQUIPMENT WITH ME.IF WE CAN FIND THE FAULTY SOURCE I CAN CHANGE OUT THE PART MYSELF.PLEASE RESPOND IN ANYWAY .THANKS,TOM

I believe the problem was the defrost. I'm wondering if he's interested in selling/trading his Allegro. I think the guys name was Tom. I'm looking for a 1982 or 1983 Allegro 34' - 36'. It's a three door model. Can anyone help?

Length, tag axles, rear twin beds or full size bed, dinette, sofa, leveling jacks, built in BBQ grill, air bag suspension, front pull down bed, two side doors or anything else you can think of. I'm not a tire kicker! I'm new to this forum. I don't know what the procedure is for contacting each other. I await your reply.

We have researched this and will respond when we check under the hood. I can tell you it is 36 ft, sleeps 10, has 3 doors, a full size bed, dinette, full size range & refrigerator, large awning, two sofas, lots of storage cabinets, full tub/shower unit, air bag suspension. Not sure about the leveling jacks either. I can tell you it does not have an inside grill. We haven't had a chance to look over it completely, but will be happy to let you know of anything else we find. Runs well. Around 77,000 original miles. Are you still interested? If so, how soon were you planning to buy?

by lrgdog - 8/23/09 2:26 PM In reply to: 1983 Tiffin Allegro by lisabrown94Someone was asking about "Tag Axles" A tag axle is a term used when a large vehicle such as a motorhome has an additional rear axle and not a drive axle to help carry weight I do not recall a 1982 - 83 allegro motorhome having an extra rear axle (Tag Axle)

Fortunatly, the original warranties & paperwork for the home was made available. I'm responding to the gentleman who was having problems with the blower on his home.
