Utorrent blue screening my computer

by jeterman29nyus - 11/8/09 4:47 AM

Hi guys, I have a sort of weird problem going on that I'm hoping you can help me with. I love Utorrent and never had a problem using it when I had xp. However, I switched to windows vista a few months ago and for some reason, every time I use Utorrent now, my computer crashes, giving me a blue screen with the error message: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. The stop error has this number sequence: 0X000000D1(0X0046BDFO,0X00000002,0X00000000,0X8F96A99F). I recently upgraded to windows 7 thinking that might help, but I still have the same issue. I don't know if this will help, but I use a wireless usb adapter that I received from my cable company (time warner). The only thing I've found when attempting to google a solution is that it could perhaps be caused by my wireless adapter, but I have the most updated drivers and it always worked with xp, so I'm not sure. I really miss using utorrent so I hope you guys can help! Thanks
