I have had the 360 Share for quite a while now and for some reason, over the past 2 days, I am unable to connect at all. Has anybody had this same problem and rectified it? I have also been unable to make contact with them. They do not seem to have an email address. I would be grateful for any assistance.
I just signed up for 360 share pro through the music members area, and the same thing happened to me. I contacted them, and the following is our correspondence. Caveat Emptor! Oh, and start at the bottom.

Ok, I am now seriously irate at the level of ambiguity concerning your refund language. In a previous e-mail I asked if my refund includes the "non-refundable" 14.95, because that's the way you make it sound when you say, "this includes the non-refundable $14.95." The response I got was,"Regarding processing fee you are quite right. We can canceal your account so in accordance with the 7 day refund policy in the "Terms and Conditions" which you agreed with when you signed up the membership. This includes the non-refundable 14.95 USD fee that is kept to cover the costs of processing and handling."
Basically, I asked if my refund was IN FULL, and you said I WAS QUITE RIGHT. Now I get an e-mail that says my refund is a whopping 2.93! This is clearly an intentional manipulation of words to screw people out of money, and I have never been so disgusted with a company. I paid $15 for a crappy site that gave me no songs and didn't ever work! I have very intention of e-mailing EVERY ONE I KNOW and telling them what a scam you're running. UNless of course, you give me a FULL REFUND. not a measly $2.93. Based on the practical worthlessness of your site, I can understand why you find it necessary to con people out of money.

Please follow these steps to get started with our featured program:
1. Go to ‘start’ and then choose ‘run’.
2. In the text box, type in ‘control panel’ and press ‘ok’.
3. Then double-click on the ‘add or remove programs’ icon.
4. After the list populates, click on 360Share Pro and click on change or remove button. This will uninstall 360Share Pro. Follow the uninstall instructions.
5. Go to My Computer
6. Double click on Local Disk C:\ (which is your hard drive)
7. Double click on Program Files
8. If you see a folder called 360Share Pro, please delete it

10. During the installation if you receive any message from your firewall, you MUST choose accept or allow or permit to grant access to Limewire.
Once Limewire is installed, please check on your desktop for an icon that says, "LimeWire 4.12.6". By double clicking on "LimeWire 4.12.6" you will have access to a search section that will allow you to download your desired content. Once Limewire is open, click on the search tab which is located at the top-left corner. There are options to search for AUDIO, VIDEO, ANY TYPE, DOCUMENTS, IMAGES, and PROGRAMS. Please click on the search option that best matches your desired search.
IMPORTANT: If you get any message in LimeWire about upgrade, please disregard it by simply clicking on "Later" button.
When you get your search results, try downloading files with 3-4 circles in the 'quality' column. Also, try downloading files from 2 or above in the '#' column.

Your response to my refund question is somewhat ambiguous. Am I to understand that my refund will include the "non-refundable" 14.95? That doesn't really make sense, but that's how it sounds. Also, my big problems with this program are the fact that only about 10% of the songs I try to download are coming through, and just recently everytime I try to search, a window comes up saying that "360 pro is currently connecting to the intenet. Your search may not return many results until you are fully connected to the internet." well, I am connected to the internet, and no other program is having a problem similar to this. If you can fix these issues soon, I'll have no problem remaining a customer. thanks

All these are free [limewire included] to download from the net. All these, if used for copyrighted music, software, movies could get you in trouble. This 360 and all like it are just taking your money for nothing. This is a ripoff service basicly.

I bought a "lifetime" membership to limetunes. I had to send my laptop in for repair and lost my information. When I tried to reload, I was taken into 360 share when I reloaded. I could use it for a while, however, lately I can't get it to work. Emailing 360 share, I was emailed a password and username that doesn't work. I tried this twice. I don't think much of either service at this point and instead of referring them, I make a point to tell anyone I know my experience with them.

I have managed to get my money back from 360 but they have withheld £7.50 as a handling fee. I am not sure if this is legal or not,also how do I down load limewire for free, every site that I go onto requires at least £17.50 for registration.

1.) Honestly, their entire business is fraudulent, and their site has been red-flagged for it. You should count yourself lucky that you got some of your money back.
2.) You can download Limewire from Cnet's own download.com for free by clicking here. It is, afterall, a free program and anyone that charges you for it is ripping you off.
3.) Keep in mind that 90% of the music, videos, and software available through Limewire and other P2P networks is copyrighted, and thus pirated. Be very careful as to what you download...illegal activity is monitored and thousands have been sued/fined/jailed.
4.) The usage of P2P software opens you up to a host of security issues, so make sure your firewall is working well, you limit what Limewire or others can access, and you scan EVERY file you donload before opening it.
If you're looking for a good music service, check out iTunes, Yahoo! Music, Walmart Music, Napster, and Rhapsody. Those are all safe, legal options.

Hello, I was reading your subject on 360 Share pro and wanted to know if you could help me. I just paid for this dumb --- program and I can`t get it to connect to the internet. I have it on my programs and I have the icons on my desk top and when I click on them nothing happens. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and still the same. Sorry to read so many parted with cash on this one.
I have also experienced problems with connection to the program over the last week. I have also come up blank when trying contact someone for assitance to this problem.There is no phone number or email address. I would be greatful if anyone could shed some light on the situation?
360Share is a known scam...they charge you for what you can get for free, taking your money and running. It's just like the guy back in high school that sold elevator passes to freshmen who didn't stop to think it was a one-story building. At this point your best option is to consider it a lesson learned and be glad you didn't lose more. You can, of course, keep trying to get some support or your money back, though most have reported that they only received a lesson in futility.
