They are donating 10% of all proceeds from sale to help support an owner of a mini golf course in FL that is being sued by Monster. Legal fees are said to be very high.
Wow.
Unless they scare the put putters away, I predict the Monster will be defeated during the climax.

I can't say what I would like to say here about that...
I've never gotten or heard of better tech support than I've gotten with my Monster remote. Now, I want to get one for my elderly grandmother for both home control and activity buttons. I'd like her to be able to adjust her thermostat from bed, for instance. It would be much easier on me if her remote matched mine so I could tell her which buttons to push over the phone when she got confused. The problem is, now that you've pointed out that Monster is frivolously suing the miniature golfers, I can't make myself pull the trigger. May have to go with Logitech now to keep my conscience clear. What a drag.

I doubt that its as nice as the monster, but i use a URC RF-20. Its $50, or add $30 more for the blaster. Its native IR + RF. Very easy to program and use. Just use the manual programming method.
Hey, should I spring for this $150 Garmin? 36 hr rat shack sale/

I went to the Radio Shack web site and if it's the 250W, I wouldn't. Turn by turn voice guided directions isn't the same thing as "text to speech". If it doesn't say either that or "Calls out street names", I'd keep looking. Don't know if there's any Comp USA's left over there but in Dallas they had some refurbished Magellan 4250's in todays paper for 119.99.
On the remote, I want the Z wave so I can buy here a thermostat for her house that she can adjust from the remote. Don't know if there's much choice other than the Monster 300's and the Harmony 890 pros.
Rusty
ya mighta saved me there.
just get the Monster man. if you feel guilty, just go play some rounds of mini-golf with your Ma.

I didn't know that Monster even tried suing over the Green Monster at Fenway. Wow. ![]()
I used to think I simply got ripped off when I first bought Monster products. I felt some regret, but got over it. Unfortunately, I've recently come to learn that I've bought products from a most despicable company. I'm having a hard time getting over it.
rusty, I take back what I said about the remote! ![]()
would be to counter sue for legal fees and agree to donate those proceeds to charity on behalf or Monster Mini Golf. I also think the settlement must include dropping the demand of 100.00 per month from the franchisee's. It would be nice if the one who initiated the frivolous suit was the one who got burned. I wonder how much of the legal costs were defrayed by donations?
Rusty
but +$200,000 is a lot of money to defray.
