Hey guys, I was just wondering if you have any recommendations for an underwater digital camera. Im going scuba diving in Florida this summer and i wanted to take pictures. My price range is 600dollars or less. Thanks for reading and please respond with your recommendations.

If you're not going to be scuba diving much, then a rental would be better. Sealife is the most prolific of the underwater camera makers and they have the DC800, for $399. You could get the DC800 and get the lighting also(which makes a big difference) for $699. Now how much would you use the camera outside of this trip? Most dive locations have a number of underwater camera rental places.
Try to find a regular camera with a Waterproof Case to protect it underwater.
I bought a Canon A620 (yes, a few years ago) and Canon makes a nice underwater housing for it. Took it to Hawaii and it worked great! Canon makes a number of housings that can be used for their cameras and can be found at a reasonable price....
Cannon 950IS
Video & Still Shots are incredible
Addtl memory lengthens the video time
Very good point and shoot, waterproof, shockproof, freezeproof.
That camera is not rated to go very deep, so it's useless as a diver's camera.
Thanks, forgot to mention it's only rated to 33 ft. I've taken mine down to 40 no problem, but yeah I should've put in that disclaimer, thanks.
