Best Underwater Camera???

Im going scuba diving in Florida this summer and i wanted to take pictures. My price range is 600dollars or less. Thanks for reading and please respond with your recommendations.

Sealife is the most prolific of the underwater camera makers and they have the DC800, for $399. You could get the DC800 and get the lighting also(which makes a big difference) for $699. Now how much would you use the camera outside of this trip? Most dive locations have a number of underwater camera rental places.

Took it to Hawaii and it worked great! Canon makes a number of housings that can be used for their cameras and can be found at a reasonable price....
