g33 g31 express chipset family... Is it PCI express?

by Lucas755 - 11/6/09 7:02 PM

Hi. I'm looking to buy a new video card for gaming, and I need to know whether my computer has a PCI Express slot or not. Since I don't feel like cracking the tower open, I decided to look at what kind of card I have now. I'm guessing it's a PCI Express card, because of the name, but I just want to make sure. Thanks.

That would be dependent upon the motherboard

PCI express slots are almost a standard now.

Open the casing to see.

You'll have to anyway, just get it over with instead of taking the lazy route.
