I am sorry to say that I have had a bad experience with HP, a noted electronics supplier. I purchased a Notebook which stopped working before the 1-year warranty expired. Even though I supplied proof of purchase on the date claimed, they have denied my warranty. This has left a bad taste in my mouth for such a (reputable) company and I feel like sharing it with the rest of the world.
Here you only get a sympathetic ear. If you have all your ducks in a row wouldn't your next call be to your consumer advocate in your state?
Example. The B.E.A.R. in California.

Sorry, not everyone lives in the US. I live in a Caribbean state with poor consumer protection and even worse access to legal redress. So maybe it's a place to take advantage of. I am thinking I might be better off buying some no-name brand off the shelf tnis time. At least I will know what I am paying for, with no expectations.
