I am buying a Mac mini and a need a great monitor to go with it. I want a multifunctional monitor because I will need to be able to hook up a wii, and xbox360 or a ps3, and a blu-ray or dvd player and possibly some sort of set up to connect a cable or satellite box to watch TV (if possible) . Some things I need are hdmi, dvi, composite, and other ports. I am also looking for 1080p and at least 24" diagonal screen size. Review sites seem to like the Dell 2408WFP and the Gateway FHD2400, but some bad user reviews are making me cautious of those monitors. Please help me find a great multifunctional monitor with awesome image quality.
I need all the advice and recommendations. Thanks for your help in advance!
Is that such monitors are not good at any particular application. Crisp PC video may show as "grainy" in reviews. Great TV reviews may find the PC application to be panned as fuzzy or the word "eyestrain."
For displays, you should take the age old advice and go see the display first hand and see it working under the conditions you will use it the most.

has vga, dvi, 2 hdmi, and component inputs as well as a digital tv tuner.

This monitor looks really nice and I will put it on my list for consideration but I would like to see some more. Thank you and keep the recommendations coming!
