I tried to abandon my obsolete VHS equipment and enter the new era of Multimedia Hard Disks.
It proved to be a complete failure. I have tried four units of three different brands and none has worked OK. Do you have a similar experience or is it just my bad luck?:
Storex (French): could not turn it on/off from the remote control, only with the main switch at the back.
Blusens T50 (1): no color on any CVBS output modes.
Blusens T50 (2): no color on PAL or 576 lines output modes, OK on the NTSC, but I am in Europe...
Conceptronic MC3GD500: It run perfectly from the beginning, but it lasted only one day. Now I have no sound and all digital media freezes after 2 second playback.
So much a tecnnological catastrophe that I returned everything to the shops and I'm back to my old faithful VHS
And you?:
Why not just use a DVD recorder that has a hard drive?
Then you can store temporary, or burn copies to DVD if you want to keep!
