Some of my video files in my laptop are gone and happened just today, it's unusual since they were their yesterday when I went on but now it's not their. I'm pretty sure it's not hidden because I already tried the show all hidden files and it still didn't show up. Please help me get them back if you know what's wrong.
From P2P use to Windows Media Player and the innocuous check box labeled "rearrange my files." We have very long discussions about this issue and I've lost count of folks that forget to configure WMP and iTunes to not move files around.

Every 60 days Windows will ask to "clean up" the system by default. Sometimes that can delete icons off the desktop, files off the drives, anything it considers "old and unused".
