how to resize the images

by amanda110 - 11/5/09 9:35 PM

I would like to resize the pictures, but don't influence the image quality.
i found some card templates from the internet, but the pictures are too small.

Thanks in advance.

If your pictures are too small for the templates, resize them to a larger size will result in poor quality.

If you have a 640x480 image and resize it to 1200x900 where did all those new pixels come from?
The software uses interpolation to create new pixels.
In other words - SWAG - Scientific Wild Guess.

Photoshop would be overkill

just for resizing purposes. I uploaded a script to my Web site that can resize images to any size I want on the fly, online. Other than that, I think there are probably many free image programs that can accomplish the job. Check the CNET downloads section for image software and sort by reviews, ratings, or number of downloads.
