Laptop for my teen anime artist

I am looking for a reliable computer for my teen who is an artist. It needs to support Photoshop & a wacom intros graphic tablet. She will be using it for animating cartoons and movies. We want to get the most bang for our buck, but I really wouldn't want to spend more than $1500.00 if possible. This computer will have to get her through the rest of high school & college.
