i cannot find my recycle bin
Happened to me too but I have Windows Vista. I inadvertently deleted my recycle bin instead of its contents, maybe you did the same. Try this- (1) Right click your desktop. (2) from the list select Personalize. (3) From the left pane of the personalization window select change desktop icons. (4) In the Desktop Icon Settings Window clear and then check the recycle bin checkbox, click apply, and OK. Hope it works
THANK FOR YOUR HELP
It works well. Thank you for your help
- Where are you looking?
- In Windows Explorer, do you see a folder RECYCLER? It could be a hidden folder, so set Tools>Folder Options to show hidden and system files temporarily. That's the recycle bin.
- Do you get an error message if you delete a file so it should be put in the recycle bin?

GERITS1, If you're using Windows XP go to the link below and scroll down to line 64 (right column) and click on "Replace/Repair the Recycle Bin in Windows XP" to download a reg file fix. Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it and answer yes to the import prompt.
