Microsoft delays the release of SP3 for Windows XP

due to a compatibility issue with a Microsoft application — Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System (RMS).
Vista's SP1 is also delayed.

If you are offered SP3 from any download other than Microsoft's Windows Update or Microsoft's Download Center do not download it.

Much longer will it before they release SP3? i just rolled back to XP from Vista SP1 and I goota tell ya XP is so much better I can't believe how much more faster it is....

Effective today, the distribution of XP SP1 (and Vista SP1) has resumed, with a blocking patch in place for those running Dynamic RMS.
