Hey Guys,
So I just formatted my PC which obviously wiped the hard drive. I then installed the drivers I needed and Windows sp2 and sp3. I then inserted a flash drive in a USB 2.0 port to put the files I had kept back on the computer and I get this message, "USB device can perform faster if plugged into high speed USB 2.0 port." But the port I had plugged it into definetly was a USB 2.0 port. I had no problems with it before I wiped my computer. Do you know how I can fix it?
Thanks tons!
Did that include the most current motherboard drivers? Those come first. I did have one occasion requiring that I uninstall all USB controllers/root hubs and then shutdown and restart to let Windows re-detect and reinstall the best drivers.
Success!!! I uninstalled the USB controllers/root hubs and then restarted the computer. They were automatically reinstalled and now I'm having no problems! Thanks so much for the help!
