Has anyone else noticed their MacBook start to wobble due to a bulging battery? One end of the battery pack is swelling, making it un-usable, if not unsafe.
We haven't noticed this in 500 other MacBooks at our school.
Our regional Apple dealer says the defect is not covered.

tell your regional Apple dealer that it most certainly is covered by the warranty.
Remove that battery from the MacBook before it becomes impossible to do so. The MacBook can continue to operate with just the AC adapter.
Meanwhile, if you Apple dealer is still stalling, it would be worth a call to Apple to decide what the warranty status of that battery is.

I took a more assertive tone and said they will replace the battery and.. they did.
glad it worked out for you

Either way glad it worked out as it should have as this issue is a known problem which affected a certqin batch of batteries and a few outside of a known range. Either way it should be replaced free to any who has this problem even if your computer is out of warranty.
