Need to buy a new power adapter for Dell Inspiron 1520
by sleepsinrain - 9/5/09 2:04 PMHi, I need to buy a replacement charger for my laptop within the next few days and need to have certain numbers clarified for me. First, what does PA-10 and PA-12 refer to? Second, what does the following mean: 3.34A/4.62A ? Both numbers are listed on the bottom of my laptop and I'll need to use these to determine compatibility with a certain charger I want. I'll post the link to the charger if that will help.

There is a "Dell exclusion" chart on this page, but I still cannot determine if this adapter will work with my computer. I also called customer service and didn't get a clear response. Thanks to anyone willing to help
