In light of the impending listener co-host shows, what are your favorite memories from 2008?

I really was impressed by the support that the phone companies put behind Android. Although we only saw 3 phones launch so far, I was most excited by an open mobile platform that actually was supported by major companies and phone manufactures. I know other platforms/OS's have been launched in the past, but this was the first open OS with major support behind it.
probably...the rise of the netbooks. It's been fun to see more "frugal computing machines" become so popular ![]()

They seem popular at mcdonalds. And in every store that sells computers. Netbooks seem to be big in Australia.
