I guess if you really want a Wii then this is an option?
Be sure and ask for the same Wii offer - Comcast will honor it.
That is WRONG... If your area does NOT HAVE PHONE.. this offer is not available to you.
You MUST be able to get all three services.
Also there is a contract that if you move you MUST have the SAME or EQUIVILENT service in the new Comcast area.
Your given the Tripple Play Price for the 1st year, and year # 2 will be normal rates (non promotional). You will have to stay at that rate.
If you have to change your plan or move to a area without all three services you will be pro rated. If you have not completed a full year you will be charged the $250 for the Wii, If you have completed 1 year you will be charged half $125.
I ask because my gf is on the campaign team that launched this offer, and that is not what I've been told.
Cool that your gf works for marketing
Honestly, I don't know why there are diffrences.
I was given a sheet telling me sales points and the rules/regs (and I hope I spelled out the most important ones)
Hey, I know when I've been trumped! Seriously, I'm sure you have the best data.

Don't worry-you didn't miss anything. My mother signed up the day
that Comcast started advertising this "promotion" and after about an
hour and 3 robots later, I was told that she didn't qualify since she
already had "standard" cable. Whatever that means. She doesn't have
digital or a cable box, and there is no other choice for cable in our
area besides Comcast. However, that is all besides the point. Their
promotion in writing states that the offer is good to all "New Triple
Play Customers". It's a scam. Tell everyone about it.
I apologize that your mother got some information that was in error, the promotion is meant for those that have never had service before.
thats NOT what the promo says though. The offer states, "New Triple Play Customers". Why is no one picking up on this wording? If Comcast meant it to be for those that never had service before, then that is what they should have put in writing.
There are few ways in which a current customer could get a tripple play.
The only ways I am aware of is if they have limited (which depends on area but usually just a cable access of the Over The Air Channels).
Or if a customer has just Internet Service only. (or Internet and limited)
And it has been said that if any service is active then the promotion is not available.
I aplologize again. But generally "New Tripple Play Customers" are those that have never had service or have not had service for several months.

My son got the whole pkg triple play installed the day 1st day of the offer, comcast says because he ordered it before that date he doesn't qualify....doesn't seem right to me....any thoughts? He just moved to DC.

The offer only applies when you ordering durign the promotional time.
I am sorry ![]()
If so, I'd suggest your son cancel what he just ordered, then re-sign up to get the Wii deal.
There is but you would have to be canceled for 30-120 days before you would qualiify for another promotion depending on the area.
So thats not a good suggestion in this issue.
