If you choose that option which once happened with me,the files you have kept or are kept in different drives will be dislocated.May be it will affect your DLL file or registry itself.
As I have suggested before:
1st effort will be to clean the disk and defragment
2nd:if problem not solved ,then increase RAM
3rd:Partition after checking which drive still have empty space
4th:Start and reinstall all over again.
Hi Denise
For Virtual Memory Problem, try to increase the size of the Virtual Memory, I think that will solve your Problem.
You can do by Right Click My Computer and go to Properties, it will open System Properties Window, and click Advanced Tab it will open Performance Option Window and then click Advanced tab, there you can find Virtual Memory Option, and from there you can change the Size of the Virtual Memory to the Maximum level.
Thanks
Senthil Kumar
Virtual Memory is an area on your hard-drive which Windows uses when physical memory(RAM)is being used.
As I understand it (although I am far from an expert) your machine has used all your physical memory and by all accounts, going by the message you received, nearly all of your virtual memory.
You may be able to solve this problem by increasing the size of your virtual memory as follows -:
1. Open Control Panel.
2. Double click on SYSTEM. This will show System Properties screen.
3. Click on ADVANCED.
4. Under PERFORMANCE click on SETTINGS. This will show the
PERFORMANCE OPTIONS screen.
5. Click on ADVANCED.
6. Under VIRTUAL MEMORY click on CHANGE this will display VIRTUAL
MEMORY screen.
7. Click on CUSTOM SIZE if not already selected.
The default values are -:
Initial Size (MB): 720 Maximum Size (MB): 1440
Make a note of your default values in case you have to change
them back.
8. Try INCREASING MAXIMUM SIZE to 2048, provided you have enough
available space. This is shown directly above Custom Size.
9. Click on SET.
10. Click OK.
As I have said I'm far from an expert in these matters, so if this does not help you should go through the above procedure and restore the settings to the default values they were before you changed them.
11. Your other option is instead of using CUSTOM size try clicking on
SYSTEM MANAGED SIZE. This may have been the default I'm not
sure.
BEST OF LUCK, I hope this helps you.
hi dude,
this one of the most common error which is caused when virtual memory is low.
what is virtual memory?
ans: virtual memory is a some amount of space of hard disk used instead of a Ram.
for eg your Ram is 256mb but some applications require more that 256 for eg let us assume tht it requires 300 mb of ram but the Ram(physical memory) is only 256mb so here the application searches for virtual memory which is allocated will be 500 min ang 1000 max so the application willl take that 50 mb amount of space from virtual memory.
quick solution: Increase your physical Ram or virtual memory.
